Lets tackle this issue head on. As a former Police Officer, I have seen some horrible things. I have seen life leave the human body as their heart stopped. This was a very difficult day but I was left asking, if life ends when the heart stops, does it begin when it starts? Sure, there are many various views on this topic and there is no one answer to satisfy everyone. It is just not possible. But my view is that once life begins, the unborn child has rights to life and to abort the pregnancy after that time should always be a criminal action.

However, up until the heart begins to beat, the government needs to back off and back out of a woman's right to choose. As you will see in many of my views, the government is over-stepping in many areas and it is not right. What the government should be doing is doing more to help and assist a newly pregnant woman who is in need of someone to be there for her so she can make the right decisions. We need to increase the levels of education for those not practicing safe sex and for expected parents.

With this all said, only the improved levels of education and prevention should be funded by tax payer dollars and never the abortion procedure itself. You can not have it both ways and demand that government get out of the way but then want them to fund it as well.
